Nightly $10 Autonomous Project Build

Build an independent, polished project from scratch. Maximum API cost allowance: $10.

Requirements#

1. Initialize project in ~/projects/<project-name>
2. Must include a sophisticated Web UI — fully mobile-responsive with advanced interactive patterns (drag-and-drop, flawless popups/modals, expandable sections)
3. Web UI must support both Light and Dark themes with a visible toggle button. If using Tailwind v4, use @variant dark (&:where(.dark, .dark *)); for class-based dark mode. Map colors using semantic CSS variables (--bg-card, --text-primary). Guarantee WCAG AA contrast compliance.
4. Must persist data (CRUD) — save to files, database, or localStorage with server sync
5. Must include a comprehensive README.md
6. Find a free port above 4750 using netstat -tuln and checking ~/.node-pilot-projects.json
7. Register as a systemd user service (~/.config/systemd/user/<project-name>.service)
8. Append project details to ~/.node-pilot-projects.json — format: { "id": "<project-name>", "name": "<Display Name>", "dir": "/home/maxime/projects/<project-name>", "port": <port> }
9. Do NOT use "PRO" branding. Do NOT mention "Node Pilot" or "Mission Control".
10. Initialize git repo and commit.
11. Do NOT ask for human confirmation.
12. Leverage past learnings: robust modal patterns (Escape key + overlay + scroll lock from persona-engine), state management with Zustand (avoids fs-in-client errors), Tailwind v4 dark mode rules as noted above, image gen via POST /api/llm/image on port 4747
